This special session is designed for buyers affiliated with the Whatcom Dream program who want to take a real, qualified step toward homeownership.

Join us for a Washington State Housing Finance Commission–approved First-Time Homebuyer Class covering the required course material to earn your official WSHFC homebuyer education certificate. This certificate is required to access many state and local down payment assistance programs.

This is a structured, full-day course, not a drop-in workshop.

Full attendance is required to receive your certificate, which is valid for approximately two years.

If you’re looking for a casual overview, we also host shorter intro classes. This session is for buyers who want the official certification and clear next steps.

- How down payment assistance programs actually work in real transactions

- What “0–3% down” looks like in practice

- How to prepare to buy responsibly, now or in the future
